# Get Database Taxonomies

A **taxonomy** is a hierarchical set of terms (categories, tags) you can attach to records. This method returns the database taxonomies available in your project.

This method is on the **Hub** surface (`norbix.hub.database`) — call it from admin tooling or IaC.
